I don't like sweet potatoes so I don't eat them. I don't try to ban them or think little of the ones that like them. This can be the same with everything other than food. If you don't like something then don't do it! Move on, don't listen, and don't try to make the non believers into believers. We will believe what we want and mind our own business.

Redhead 8" Camo Boot Review
So after 15 years of stomping around in the same pair of Rocky Alabama ATV boots they finally cracked. I thought they was the most comfortable rubber boots I would ever find. Then came a sale flier.
I was looking in a Bass Pro sale flier and saw they have Redhead 8" camo boots marked down to $30. So I talked so friends into making a run for Bass Pro and food. At first I was thinking the 8" would be too short but then I realized that if I'm in water to my knees then I'm probably going to be wearing waders anyway.
Ok so I get there and see them on the shelf and ask the lovely young lady if she has them in my size. After she brings them out I take them for a quick test drive. WOW! After feeling the boot gods smiling at me I threw them back in the box and under my arm and away I went.
Now when it comes to rubber boots I don't like them insulated and these are not. Also the uppers are neoprene and that added a lot to the comfort. Also the boot had a heel the width of the boot unlike some (which I hate). They come in two camo patterns, Mossy Oak and Realtree. For those of you that know me I didn't go with Realtree.
So if you're in the market for some new stompers go try a pair. I give them two thumbs up!

Barnett Panzer V Crossbow Review
A couple months ago I purchased my first ever crossbow.... a Barnett Panzer V.
I want to start off with saying I didn't have my hopes high as I used to be very competitive in the IBO and ASA 3-D archery world and as anyone else knows you usually get what you pay for. In this case it isn't true. I didn't want to spend a lot of money but I also wanted a recurve crossbow that was a name brand. I knew from the start that with the Panzer shooting 245 fps I wasn't going to be leaving a smoke trail behind my bolt. As any seasoned archer knows it doesn't matter how fast the bow is as long as you hit your mark. Speed will help but it isn't really important.
The Panzer out of the box equipped with a Truglo four dot reticle sight (I didn't like the one that came with it) and factory Barnett 18" bolts shoots great. I quickly got the sight close at 20 yards and started moving back to fine tune. At 30 yards I split a bolt with another bolt from the moon nock to about half way down the fletchings. I was able to hold a 4" group of five bolts at 45 yards.
Another plus about the Panzer is that it is extremely light weight. This makes it easy to shoot free hand and also very nice when walking to the stand or blind.
I not only went with this crossbow because of the low price but I also wanted the simplicity of the recurve bow. I personally think anyone that would own this crossbow would have a hard time not liking it's performance for the money.

Cool new tool
I was working on an Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 6000 and a 6500 this weekend when I realized the cog in the side cover was different. I lightly tried pulling it off and nothing. So after a little web searching and reading and then thinking I came up with this. A mini puller for reel cogs.

Kinda shocked that my fishing hole still had crappie since I haven't caught one there in years. I caught three this size today along with a monster red ear.

The Jedi Master
One of my favorite persons in the whole world. Charlie Owens had been called the Jedi of archery but I consider him the Yoda if that's the case. I've learned so much about archery than most will learn in two life times from him and today I learned even more.
