Done a little sanding on my Marlin X7VH 308 to free float the barrel. Hopefully Boyds will bring out the heavy barrel stock soon so I can ditch this one.

New Hunting Hat?
I think not! But I did wish I had my coyote call in my pocket so the rest if the people at JCP could have just as much fun.

Backpack Style
I think I've got something good here. Been racking my brain because I didn't like some of the designs I've seen so I made this double sling mount.

Marlin XT-22VR
This is one sweet low budget 22lr rifle with a heavy barrel. It has one if the nicest triggers I have pulled right out of the box. The bolt is a little tight but that is better than being sloppy. Got a chance to take it out and shoot today and tried some different ammo.
The picture with the 3" shoot and see is five shots of Eley sub-sonic at 30 yards. The other picture is six shots of Winchester High Velocity at 30 yards.

River Rod Holder
We are going to start fishing the river soon and wanted a rod holder that was simple and I didn't have to run in the ground. I came up with this today.

Boom Boom!
The Big Bus and his trusty dog Lucy the Lab got these fine teal birds. Traveled 200 miles and spent $300 this past weekend and got these right beside the house. Someone else must have Bus Luck.

Its just a nine but i keep it clean!
J-DUB here, I try my best to keep all my firearms clean and oiled and tonight i tried a few new products on my Ruger LC9. The first one was Tetra Gun Action Blaster! It is a degreaser and cleaner, I picked it up for $5.99 at Rural King. Verdict is....... it works great to get all that old grime and oil out of every crevice and it even has a fresh pine scent. The second product was Lucas Gun Oil, the Lucas name has a great reputation in synthetic lubricants and this one stands up to that name. Works smooth as silk. Overall I am very happy with both products so I give them the Inner Redneck seal of approval. Well thats all for now, hope this review was helpful!

Ming Yang CL60 Review
For one I'm always open to trying new products and Inner Redneck likes new toys. I've been fishing with this Ming Yang CL60 for a month or so now and really like it. If your thinking about one of these don't think you are getting an Abu Garcia or Shimano for a third the price. The Ming Yangs are a very good reel at a very pleasing price. They cast very well and the clicker is loud. Also the drag is smooth. What matters most is that if someone asked me if I would recommend one I would in a heart beat.

HT Enterprise Max Force Reel Review
I have two Max Force 703 reels and all I can say so far is that I hope they keep making them because I'll keep buying them. I finally got into quite a few fish the other night so here is my review. Personally I'm very happy with these reels. They hold 260 yds of 25lb mono and the line alarm is very loud. They cast extremely well and operate really smooth. The fish I've caught have only been channel cats but I did catch a pretty good size turtle and had no problems. I'm a big fan of Abu Garcias but I've always been open to trying new products. I give the Max Force reels two thumbs up and if someone is looking for a good rod and reel combo the max force and ol whiskers rod is a good choice for landing Ol Mr. Whisker Lips.

Get Ya Some!
If you catfish with 7' rods and you're wanting to cast farther don't be like me and wait forever before you give in and buy longer rods. I finally broke down and bought a 9' Nite Stick and I've got another on the way. Very nice rods for a low price.
After playing with the new rod a little while I broke out the light gear for some redear and bluegill.
